John Mustian

I grew up in Short Pump, Virginia and was exposed to dentistry from an early age as my father is a dentist. In high school and college, I worked in his office and realized that I wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. I went to college at The University of Virginia and dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University. I now work with my family in our family practice, but I enjoy visiting schools through Smile Virginia once a week. It is refreshing to get out of the office and into the schools and to be surrounded by the energy and excitement of the children. When not practicing dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four-year-old son and two-year-old daughter. In the summer we enjoy spending a lot of time at the beach and the pool.
